About the BuildPusher Audit visitor
What the BuildPusherAudit user agent is, what it does on your site, and how to stop it.
1What it is
BuildPusherAudit is a headless Chromium browser. A BuildPusher customer asked it to try tasks on their site or on sites they compare themselves with, such as finding the price, the way a first-time visitor would.
2What it does
It opens public pages only, at most about two a second and a few dozen per audit. It never submits a purchase, payment or sign-up, and when a form needs details it types obviously fake ones (Alex Example, alex@example.com).
3How it identifies itself
Its user agent contains “BuildPusherAudit/1.0” and a link to this page.
4How to stop it
Add a robots.txt group for BuildPusherAudit (or for every user agent) that disallows the pages you don’t want visited. Audits read robots.txt before every page and skip what it disallows.
