Inside Analytics

What you can do

A closer look at what Analytics does, grouped by the work it supports.

Reports

See how people arrive and what they read

The channels, sources, campaigns and pages that shape a visit.

Numbers where people already look.

  • Reports and alertsWeekly or monthly reports and CSV exports, an alert when traffic spikes, and another when a day is far from normal.
  • Shared and embedded reportsA read-only link, with or without a password, that you can also embed on another site.
  • Your data, your wayCSV exports, the API, a Looker Studio connector, a Google Analytics import, and nightly raw exports ready for BigQuery.

Privacy

Learn from trends, not people

Useful numbers without building a profile of anyone.

  • No cookiesVisitor hashes rotate daily, so nobody is followed from one day to the next. Retention is opt-in.
  • A small trackerOne script, the same /tracker/v1.js as before, that you can serve from your own domain.

A practical path through Analytics

Measure. Explore. Learn.

Turn a website into reports your team can use to make its next decision.

  1. 01Add a websiteCreate a site and add the one-line tracker.

  3. 03Measure outcomesDefine goals, and see which releases came before a change.

Safety and accountability

Keep collection and reporting clear.

Analytics reports useful website trends without cookies or cross-site profiles.

  • No cookies
  • Daily-rotating visitor hashes
  • No cross-site profile
  • Per-plan retention
  • Roles and audit history
  • Exports on request

Good to know

Straight answers about Analytics.

Do I need a cookie banner?

The tracker sets no cookies and stores no personal data unless you switch on retention, which keeps a random ID in the browser. Check your own obligations with your advisers.

Does the tracker address change?

No. Sites keep using /tracker/v1.js, or serve it from their own domain through a proxy.

Can I bring my Google Analytics history?

Yes. Connect Google Analytics 4 and import the days before your site started sending data here.
