Use the API
Automate deploys and more with API tokens.
1Create a token
Account → API tokens → Create a token. Choose only the abilities it needs and an expiry date. The token is shown once, so copy it straight away.
2Call the API
Send it as a bearer token. The API reference lists every endpoint, and the OpenAPI document can generate a client for you.
3Old scripts
Deployer API v1 scripts keep working unchanged, including old numeric IDs.
4Spreadsheets
Servers, Websites, Repositories, Account → Providers and Account → Recipes each have Export CSV: the inventory as a spreadsheet, with what you can see and never any secrets.
5Resources
The resources API (/api/v2) creates, reads, changes and deletes projects (with their services), servers, websites and monitors. Servers and websites answer at once and set up in the background; read them until their status is active or failed.
6Terraform
The BuildPusher Terraform provider manages projects, servers, websites and monitors as code with the resources API. Give its token projects, infrastructure and monitoring read and write scopes, set BUILDPUSHER_TOKEN, and declare buildpusher_project, buildpusher_server, buildpusher_website and buildpusher_monitor resources; existing ones can be imported by ID.
